About the Artist:
With a lifetime of amusing herself with various arts supplies, Ula, now an adult ‘thriver’ from child sexual abuse, found art a very young age, she can be quoted, “its my therapy, a place to be me”. 
 
This has brought her to be part of and organize many creative projects, including illustrating children’s books, being honoured with people’s choice awards and a purse full of art supplies, just in case creativity strikes.She also is part of the Sendero Centre Team assisting survivors to find their own voice while navigating the criminal justice system.
